The RLDatix Awards 2026 are now open!

These awards celebrate the remarkable people, teams, and initiatives transforming health and care across the Asia-Pacific region. We know great work is happening every day — this page is here to help you tell that story clearly, confidently, and compellingly.

Before you begin your submission, here are some practical tips to help you create a strong, well-structured entry.

Before You Start

1. Choose the right category

Take time to review the award categories and criteria before you begin.

Each category has a clear focus — whether that’s workforce experience, safer care, wellbeing, productivity, or data-driven improvement. Make sure the initiative you are submitting clearly aligns to one category and speaks directly to what that category is designed to recognise.

Ask yourself:

  • Which category best reflects the core outcome of this initiative?
  • What problem were we trying to solve, and where does that fit?

2. Understand how entries are assessed

Keeping these principles in mind as you write will help you stay focused and relevant.

IMPACT

What difference has this initiative made? How meaningful and measurable is the outcome for care, safety, staff, or operations?

ALIGNMENT

Does the initiative clearly align with the category it has been submitted into?

SPREAD

Could this approach be replicated, scaled, or inspire other organisations?

EVIDENCE

Is there clear evidence to support the outcomes being described?

Writing Your Submission

3. Tell a clear story

Strong entries follow a simple narrative:

  • The challenge – What was happening before? Why did change matter?
  • The action – What did you do differently? Who was involved?
  • The impact – What changed as a result?

You don’t need to use formal language — clarity matters more than complexity. Assume the judges have no prior knowledge of your organisation, context, or systems.

4. Involve the right people early

Great submissions are rarely written by one person alone.

Consider:

  • Including short testimonials or perspectives from staff, leaders, or stakeholders
  • Asking colleagues to review the submission for clarity and completeness
  • Checking facts, figures, and outcomes before final sign-off

This often results in a stronger, more balanced entry.

5. Secure leadership sign-off early

Make sure your organisation is aware of and supportive of the submission.

Identify who needs to approve the entry and book time with them well ahead of the deadline. This avoids last-minute pressure and gives space for thoughtful review.

6. Focus on recent and relevant impact

Judges are looking for current and meaningful outcomes.

Even if your initiative started some time ago, focus on:

  • Improvements delivered in the last 12–18 months
  • Evidence that shows momentum, learning, or sustained benefit
  • Clear links between action taken and outcomes achieved

Evidence may include data, feedback, operational improvements, or workforce outcomes — it doesn’t need to be perfect, just authentic and relevant.

7. Give yourself enough time

Strong entries take time to prepare.

Allow time for:

  • Drafting and refining responses
  • Gathering evidence or examples
  • Internal review and final approval

Starting early makes the process far more manageable.

How to Make Your Entry Stand Out

Once you’ve addressed the category criteria, consider whether your entry also speaks to some of the following:

  • Can this initiative be adopted or adapted by others?
  • Does it contribute to safer, smarter, or more sustainable care?
  • Does it improve outcomes for patients, residents, communities, or staff?
  • Does it address a common challenge in a new or practical way?
  • What’s next — how will this work continue or evolve?

Judges value honesty, learning, and progress just as much as polished outcomes.

Things to remember

  • You may submit multiple entries, but each category must feature a different project or initiative
  • Judges will not be familiar with internal acronyms or terminology — explain things clearly
  • All submissions are reviewed fairly by an independent panel with relevant experience
  • This is about celebrating progress and impact — not perfection
  • The deadline for entries is Thursday 5th of February 2026

If you’d like help shaping your submission, clarifying category fit, or sense-checking your draft, our team is always happy to support you. We can’t wait to read your stories and celebrate the incredible work happening across health and care in the Asia-Pacific region.
