The RLDatix Awards 2025 celebrate the dedicated teams and individuals in health and care, who relentlessly strive to deliver exceptional care.
These awards recognise and give credit to those who drive improvements, champion patient safety, and go above and beyond to enhance the quality of care for all. Submissions are now closed. We will be announcing the shortlist for each category soon!
Award Categories
In 2025, we have 10 categories of awards that are available to enter, all designed to recognise the incredible contributions of you and your colleagues in delivering safer, supported and sustainable care.
Digital Solutions Empowering the Workforce
Recognising the use of digital tools to improve workforce experience, collaboration, and care delivery. This award celebrates the use of technology that helps people work more effectively and feel more connected.
This category is for projects that have:
- Strengthened workforce experience through digital tools
- Improved communication, access to information, or shift visibility
- Enabled more flexible or autonomous working
Delivering Safer Care
Celebrating work that reduces harm, strengthens governance, and improves the systems and behaviours that support safer care for patients and staff.
This category is for projects that have:
- Reduced harm or risk through improved systems, oversight, or processes
- Supported better safety governance or decision-making
- Embedded learning from incidents
Transforming Workforce Wellbeing and Flexibility
Recognising initiatives that support staff wellbeing, promote flexibility, and create better working conditions for those delivering care.
This category is for projects that have:
- Introduced or scaled up staff wellbeing support
- Enabled more flexible, responsive staffing models
- Improved morale, retention, or work–life balance
Collaborative Excellence in Integrated and System-Wide Care
Celebrating collaborative projects that improve care through leadership, planning, or delivery across organisations, sectors, or regions.
This category is for projects that have:
- Strengthened collaboration across organisations or care settings
- Improved shared governance, patient transitions, or workforce planning
- Delivered improvement across a region, partnership, or cross-sector network
Outstanding Care Across Non-Acute Settings
This award recognises services and teams that are improving outcomes and delivering safe, effective care in community, social care, or virtual environments.
This category is for projects that have:
- Improved access to care in non-acute or home-based settings
- Enhanced safety, coordination, or experience in community services
- Supported the workforce to deliver joined-up care beyond hospital settings
Driving Productivity and Operational Excellence
Recognising measurable improvements in care delivery through better planning, resource use, or operational performance.
This category is for projects that have:
- Improved how services are staffed, scheduled, or delivered
- Increased productivity through more effective planning or design
- Enabled teams to deliver more or higher-value care with the same or fewer resources
Efficient and Impactful Care Delivery
Celebrating improvements that have made care more efficient while protecting quality and outcomes, through simpler systems or smarter use of resources.
This category is for projects that have:
- Simplified workflows or redesigned care pathways
- Delivered time or cost savings through improved efficiency
- Maintained high-quality care while streamlining delivery
Learning and Improvement Through Incident Reporting
Recognising how organisations have strengthened safety culture by using reporting and learning systems to drive improvement.
This category is for projects that have:
- Strengthened reporting, investigation, or learning processes
- Used reporting data to inform service or workforce change
- Embedded a culture of reflection, openness, and improvement
Improving Care Through Data and Insight
Celebrating the use of data to drive change – from identifying risks to making better decisions and improving care or workforce outcomes.
This category is for projects that have:
- Used data to identify trends, risks, or opportunities
- Taken action based on workforce, safety, or operational insight
- Strengthened planning or decision-making through better use of information
Legacy of Impact Award
Honouring long-term achievements that have delivered lasting improvements in care, safety, or workforce experience.
This category is for projects that have:
- Delivered meaningful improvement over a sustained period
- Shaped systems, approaches, or workforce culture in lasting ways
- Created a legacy of safer, stronger, or more equitable care
